The instant we discovered a factory that makes steel mesh shopping trolleys we realized that the technology that was being used could have some amazing applications in creation of furniture. It also lent itself to outdoor furniture because the steel could be treated to prohibit corrosion. The ability to apply colour to the steel also presented us with some wonderful possibilities.

The Sun Goddess is a sun lounger with a difference - the addition of rocking feet allows for motion which, in turn, enhances the relaxation. The top is made of powder-coated steel mesh and the sleigh leg is crafted out of oiled African Rosewood. It can be used outdoors but is also a great addition to a reading room.
