How do you minimize the sense of clutter whilst retaining the feeling of getting a bargain? This was part of our challenge with Game, a mass general dealer that promises to beat any price on everything from cell phones to tents and widescreen TVs. We’ve taken a store that has been part of the South African buying culture for decades, kept its definitive garish pink but used it carefully as an accent here and there, and made the whole store contemporary and functional. We’ve rationalized their product categories, product displays and store flow to make the whole shopping experience more pleasurable and efficient.
